R.I.P Joseph Quezada
On 11/19/11 a friend of mine named Joseph Quezada was tragically killed in a car accident at 20 years old. He also happened to be my cousin`s baby daddy & he left behind a new born 4 month old son, Joseph Myles Quezada Jr. He loved his baby more then anything in this world, and he was such a great guy! Ironically on the day before he died, he very seriously stated, “when i die, i wanna die knowing i became a man.” The entire city of La Habra is effected by the tragedy. 2 young boys, 18 & 19 years old, will spend the rest of there lives in prison. They happened to be intoxicated, & after the accident, decided it would be better to run from the scene. One irresponsible decision took a loving son, brother, father, & friend. Joseph Jr. will never have the oppertunity to have a father, & he will never get the chance to watch his little boy grow into a man one day. Two parents have to bury there son before he had a chance to live. His baby mama, whom he`d been with for 5 1/2 years, will never see him again. She won`t get to share the exciting moments of being a parent with him, or ever get to say i love you to him & hear him say it back. Those of us who were his friends will never get to hear him laugh again, we`ll never get to her him make jokes again & absorb every ounce of life that was around him. Life is far too short to hold in hate. Next time you yell at someone whose meant so much to you, next time you leave a loved one with hurtful words, just remember, they could be the last words you ever get to speak to them. Death isn`t just for the old, the dangerous, the sick. Death is something that can come at any moment, any time. Whether your 15 or 50. It`s a key part of life, & everyday that we get is one more blessing. Please everyone, i beg you, don`t drink & drive! Not only is it someone else’s life you might ruin, but it could also be your own. R.I.P Joe a.k.a nigga Drake! Your memory will leave on through everyone out here that loves you, & you`ve touched so many people! We may not understand it, but God has a plan for all of us, & he clearly needed one of his best angel`s home.
